 Jia-Zhuang Xu, Professor

Jiazhuang Xu is a full professor at College of Polymer Science and Engineering, Sichuan University, China. He received his B.S. and Ph.D. from Sichuan University, under the guidance of Prof. Zhong-Ming Li. He took part in a joint postgraduate project at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard University (2012-2014). He then joined the faculty of College of Polymer Science and Engineering, Sichuan University in 2014. His research interests include: (1) Fundamentals in polymer crystallization, polymer processing; (2) Structure/processing/property relationship in biomedical materials. Currently, he has published more than 60 papers as the first or corresponding author, with the citation of more than 1800 times. He applies 14 patents with 8 authorized. He leads many projects supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China, Sichuan Science and Technology Department, and famous enterprises at home and abroad.
